Okra Lotus Root
1.
Wash the lotus root, peel it off, and cut into sections similar to sharpening a pencil.
2.
Wash the okra, remove the stalk, and cut into sections diagonally.
3.
After the oil pan is heated, put the lotus root and stir fry first, and add 1/4 cup of water to draw out the starch in the lotus root.
4.
After the lotus root changes color (from raw to ripe), add okra, pour the remaining 1/4 cup of clean water and continue to fry, and finally add salt to taste.
Tips:
When buying okra, you need to pay attention: the color is darker green, the size is moderate, and the hand feels elastic, not hard or soft.
