One-pot Braised Tomato and Fresh Vegetable Rice
1.
Wash all the ingredients. You can buy corn kernels directly for corn, peel the carrots, peel both cowpeas, and heat the tomatoes with boiling water and peel them.
2.
Cut the carrots in half lengthwise and place them flat down to avoid rolling and slipping. Cut them into finger-wide strips, and then cut them into cubes. Align the cowpea and dice the ham.
3.
After the rice is washed, add water to the pot. The amount of water is slightly less than usual for cooking rice, because the tomato will produce water. Spread the ingredients on the rice, cover it, and press the cooking button.
4.
When the cooking process is over, open the lid, add salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper, mix well, then cover and simmer.
Tips:
Ham sausage can be replaced with luncheon meat, which has a stronger flavor.
