Onion Braised Pork Rice

Prepare all materials

Clean the pork belly and cut it into fingernail-sized meat cubes or diced meat

Cut the onion into cubes the same size as the diced meat, mince the ginger

Put 1 tablespoon oil in the pot

Tips:
1. It is best to cut the diced meat by hand, it is much more delicious than the minced meat directly, so you should not be afraid of getting tired in pursuit of taste;
2. Traditional braised pork rice uses red onion, which is difficult to buy in the north of our country. I used purple onion instead, which is also very good;
3. The onion must be fried in oil until it is browned, and the pork belly must be stir-fried to get the fat after it is in the pan. The stewed pork will not be greasy when it is so crispy;
4. Before braising the rice, the rice grains must be soaked in advance. The permeable rice tastes better.
