Wash the purple cabbage and squeeze into juice. You can also use a stir bar or a multi-functional soymilk machine without a juicer.

Wash the rice, add the filtered purple cabbage juice, add a small amount of edible alkali, stir evenly, and steam. Use the pH to change the color of purple cabbage juice. Be careful not to add too much alkali. The amount is probably chopsticks dipped in water, and 5mm-8mm is enough. The purple cabbage juice can also be left unfiltered to make the rice softer and waxy, but the color is not filtered and steamed evenly. You can prepare side dishes while steaming the rice.
