Pea Jelly
1.
Put 100 grams of pea starch in a bowl, then add 250 grams of water, and stir to form a batter. We divide the water into two parts, one part is used to dissolve starch, and the other part is used to cook jelly.
2.
The stirred pea starch batter is delicate and smooth. Then we can boil water to prepare pea jelly.
3.
Add 450 grams of water to the soup pot, cover the pot and start boiling. I have tried the ratio of powder to water 1:7 is more appropriate, if you like to eat softer, you can add more water.
4.
After the water is boiled, add the pea starch paste that was evenly stirred just now, and stir as you add it. During the stirring process, you will see that the jelly is completely changed from white to transparent, and the jelly is ready.
5.
Find a large bowl, pour in the prepared jelly, cover the surface with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out, wait until it has completely cooled down and eat it. I made it the night before and ate it the next morning. It was just right.
6.
I bought a tool for digging jelly, but I don’t know its name. It’s very convenient for scraping jelly. I remember that the uncle who came to the village to sell jelly when I was young used this tool to scrape us jelly. Scrape the jelly into filaments.
7.
Put the scraped two pieces of sticks into a bowl, make another bowl of sauce, put all the seasonings together and stir well.
8.
Pour the prepared sauce on the scraped jelly noodles, mix well and eat. Cool and smooth, the spicy and appetizing pea jelly is ready, hurry up and eat a big chunk. Don't be afraid even if the weather is hot and you have no appetite
Tips:
1. When the starch paste is poured into the water, be sure to keep stirring to avoid the bottom of the paste, and it will be cooked until everything becomes transparent.
2. Adjust the flavor of the seasoning according to your own taste.
3. Jelly is delicious, but not easy to digest. People with poor stomach should not eat too much.
