Pearl Tofu Meatballs

Soak the glutinous rice in water for half a day in advance (more than 4 hours).

Add scallion and ginger water to the minced pork, stir well, add salt, cooking wine, light soy sauce, and oyster sauce and stir well.

Cut the tofu slices into a pot of boiling water, scald them out, drain them, and crush them.

Pour the tofu puree into the minced meat, stir evenly, and then add starch to stir evenly. Drain the glutinous rice.

Take an appropriate amount of tofu minced meat into a moderately sized meatball.

Roll a layer of glutinous rice grains on the surface, and put them in a tray lined with oiled paper (or carrot slices to prevent sticking). Steam in a pot of boiling water for about 15 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
