A piece of pork belly

Cut into small pieces

A piece of bacon

Cut into small pieces

Boil the meat with ginger wine and set aside

A few fresh bamboo shoots

Cut into hob blocks for use

A few small lettuce

Cut into hob blocks for use

Soak the venetian blinds in boiling water, drain and set aside

Put all the ingredients except lettuce in a casserole (add enough water at a time), add a little sugar, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer for about an hour on medium and low heat

Add the lettuce and boil for a minute or two

Sprinkle with chopped green onion
