Pickled Fresh

1. A piece of pork belly

2. Cut into small pieces

3. A piece of bacon

4. Cut into small pieces

5. Boil the meat with ginger wine and set aside

6. A few fresh bamboo shoots

7. Cut into hob blocks for use

8. A few small lettuce

9. Cut into hob blocks for use

10. Soak the venetian blinds in boiling water, drain and set aside

11. Put all the ingredients except lettuce in a casserole (add enough water at a time), add a little sugar, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer for about an hour on medium and low heat

12. Add the lettuce and boil for a minute or two

13. Sprinkle with chopped green onion
