Pork Belly

1. Peel the pork belly.

2. Put it in a container, add sliced ginger, green onion, and bay leaves.

3. Add the remaining marinade to a small bowl and mix well.

4. Add the pork belly, spread well, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.

5. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Cover the baking tray with tin foil, put in the marinated pork belly, put it in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.

6. Take a small bowl and pour an appropriate amount of honey to melt.

7. Take out the pork belly that has been roasted for 25 minutes and brush it with honey.

8. Bake for another 20 minutes, brushing with honey again in the meantime. Let the roasted char siu cool and slice into a plate.

Tips:

The marinated meat is best to be taken out of the refrigerator in advance and warmed to room temperature, so that the roasted meat is not fired.
