Pork Ribs and Yam Soup

Prepare the ingredients, peel off the skin of fresh yam and wash, cut into pieces with a hob, peel and cut carrots, and peel off water chestnuts for later use

Pour 1800ML of water into the enamel cast iron pot, add ginger and candied dates to boil

Bring water to a boil in another pot, put the ribs in boiling water for about 5 minutes, wash and drain the water

Put the cleaned ribs in an enamel cast iron pot, cover the pot, boil over high heat and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes

Add the prepared carrots, water chestnuts, and yam

Cover the pot again and simmer for 20 minutes. Sprinkle salt before serving
Tips:
1. When peeling fresh yam, remember to wear disposable gloves, otherwise it is easy to cause allergic reactions
2. When boiling the soup, usually add enough water at one time, no need to add water in the middle
3. Seasoning can be added according to personal taste, we usually put a little salt is enough, too much material will replace the sweetness of the soup
