Claypot rice seems to be a food standard in Guangzhou. In 2002, my mother went to Guangzhou for the first time. I remember that summer evening, when she received a call from Guangzhou and talked about her experience in Guangzhou, she was suddenly excited. Say, I ate a different kind of vegetable rice here, called claypot rice. I can't remember the original words, but I remember that fragment, and there is another sentence: You will definitely like it too, this rice has your favorite rice crust. I remembered claypot rice for the first time. Many people may not understand this, but in a small northern city, the attention to foreign snacks was really low at that time. The most common food was sesame seed cakes, steamed buns and various buns. After working, I slowly pondered these things in the kitchen. I also tried to make claypot rice by myself to relive the memories of that summer vacation with my mother.

Tips:

The bottom of the pot must be brushed with a layer of oil, not too much. Otherwise it is easy to stick to the pot.
