Potatoes and Pumpkin Mashed with Cheese
1.
Slice potatoes for later use, chop garlic for later use, and preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
2.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, add garlic, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly add milk and salt. After boiling, cook for about 3-4 minutes. Turn off the heat, add pumpkin puree and stir well, and finally season with salt and pepper.
3.
Put half of the potatoes in the baking bowl, then pour half of the sauce, and sprinkle half of the cheese. Repeat for the next layer.
4.
Then put it in the oven and bake it until the potatoes can be easily fed with a fork and the top is golden brown. It takes about 1 hour.
Tips:
1. Preparation time: 10 minutes, production time: 1 hour, serving size: 4 servings.
2. If the top layer of the potato starts to turn brown, you can cover it with tin foil and continue roasting.
3. Pumpkin puree can be bought ready-made, or steamed and pressed into puree by yourself.
