8. Put it in the steaming box and steam for 10 minutes; after 10 minutes, the egg liquid will solidify slightly, then put a prepared shrimp in it, continue to steam for 5 minutes, and simmer for 2 minutes when it is finished, take it again;

Tips:

I use a steamer to steam here, so I don’t need to cover the top of the pumpkin during the whole process, including the steamed custard. The steaming time is slightly longer than using a steamer. If you use a steamer, it is recommended to steam. Put the pumpkin cover on the custard or wrap it in plastic wrap;
For pumpkins, you must choose this kind of glutinous bei pumpkin, which is very delicious when it is steamed. The space in the pumpkin cup is not large. Just use two small eggs for the eggs. The baby chicken eggs I use here are relatively small, a little smaller than ordinary earthen eggs.
