Red Dates Oatmeal Porridge with Wolfberry

Wash the rice and soak it in water for about twelve hours.

Drain the water that has been soaked in the rice, rinse it briefly, add in an appropriate amount of cold water, cover the pot, and press the cooking button to start cooking the porridge.

Wash the red dates and remove the pits.

The wolfberry is soaked in slightly warm water and drained after soaking.

After the porridge is boiled, open the lid and cook for a while. When the porridge becomes longer, add the oatmeal, stirring occasionally.

Add red dates.

Cook until the porridge becomes soft and well cooked, then add the wolfberry.

Add appropriate amount of sugar, stir well and serve.
Tips:
1. The time for soaking rice is long, and the time for cooking porridge can be shortened.
2. Regardless of whether you use an electric rice cooker or a gas fire when cooking porridge, stir it with a spoon from time to time after the porridge is boiled to avoid muddy bottom of the porridge.
3. If using gas fire, turn the fire down after boiling.
