The main ingredient of red oil tofu is cooked with soybean curd and blood tofu. The red oil comes from Pixian bean paste and red pepper. At the same time, the seasoning includes Chinese pepper, so this dish has a rosy color and a unique taste. The spicy aroma is strong.

Red Oil Tofu

1. Ingredients: Tofu

2. Accessories: duck blood, Pixian bean paste, green onion, ginger and garlic,

3. Chop the green onion, ginger, garlic and red pepper.

4. Cut tofu into pieces.

5. Cut the duck blood into pieces. Boil water in a pot, add appropriate amount of cooking wine, and add duck blood flying water to a boil to remove peculiar smell.
Remove, rinse, and set aside.

6. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the peppercorns over low heat. Add green onion, ginger, garlic and red pepper and saute until fragrant.

7. Add Pixian bean paste and stir-fry on low heat. Fried red oil.

8. Add duck blood. Cook into the cooking wine, soy sauce.

9. Add an appropriate amount of water to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.

10. Put in tofu cubes.

11. Simmer for 3 minutes, add monosodium glutamate to increase freshness, and heat for a while to collect the juice.
Put it out of the pot and serve it on the plate.

Tips:

It can also be cooked with soybean curd only, and you can add some minced meat if you like.
