Rice Cake
1.
Soak the rice in water overnight.
2.
The soaked rice is fed into the soymilk machine, and the rice is broken up with the stirring function of the soymilk machine.
3.
Pour out the excess water after making the rice milk without leaving too much water.
4.
Divide the rice milk into three portions, add yeast powder to the preparation in the pot, and heat one of the bowls in the microwave for about 1 minute.
5.
Add 5 grams of yeast powder to a large pot
6.
Mix the heated rice syrup with another bowl of uncooked rice syrup and stir evenly. The blended look looks like ice cream huh~ Use a little water to boil the sugar, pour the rice syrup and stir.
7.
After the rice milk in the big pot is fermented, pour the ice cream-like rice milk into the fermentation again. Pour the rice wine into the fermented rice milk and stir evenly.
8.
You can put dates, sesame, walnuts, wolfberry, etc. in the cakes according to personal preference, not necessarily all of them. I think the red dates are the best, and the house is full of red dates. Put oil on the mold and it can be steamed.
9.
After steaming, let cool and release from the mold.
Tips:
1. The rice milk will solidify when heated in the microwave for about 1 minute, so the heating time should not be too long. Mixing the slightly solidified rice milk with the raw rice milk is not easy to stir, because there are lumps, it will be easy to stir after a while.
2. The amount of sugar depends on your personal preference, too much may not be good, it will affect the fermentation effect.
3. To judge whether the rice milk is fermented, you can turn it up with a shovel to see if there are small bubbles. If it is full of small bubbles, it will be fermented.
