I grew up in Shandong but likes to eat sauerkraut from the Northeast. Every year I pick up a jar of sauerkraut.

Sauerkraut Stewed Vermicelli, Authentic Northeastern Dish

1. Half a piece of sauerkraut

2. Split into two layers in the middle

3. Cut into filaments, the finer the better

4. Sliced pork belly is better

5. Put a little more oil in the pot, add the dried pepper and chili until fragrant

6. Put the pork belly and fry until the color changes

7. Add the chopped green onion, ginger and garlic

8. Add light soy sauce

9. Stir fry

10. Add sauerkraut shreds

11. Stir and dip evenly with the sauce

12. Add more water, cover the pot and simmer for more than 10 minutes

13. Add the vermicelli and add salt chicken powder and sugar to taste

14. Cover the vermicelli with vegetables, the vermicelli will taste

15. Once the vermicelli is cooked, it can be served on a plate.

Tips:

The thinner and thinner the sauerkraut is cut, the more delicious it is. The sauerkraut is oil-absorbing meat, which can be a little bit more fragrant. Add more water to the stewed sauerkraut, and turn the noodles frequently after putting them on to avoid sticking to the pot.
