Scones with Red Bean Paste

Pour the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into the basin and mix, add the softened butter cut into small pieces.

Use your hands to make coarse corn flour. You can wear disposable gloves for operation if you are afraid of getting dirty.

Add water and egg liquid.

Use a spatula to cut and mix, no dry powder can be seen, there is no need to over-mix, which is really time-saving and labor-saving.

Knead into a ball and put it on the chopping board. Flatten and cut into two.

Place them overlapping, cut again, and repeat 3 times.

Divide into 7 equal parts.

After kneading and pressing into a circle, put the red bean paste (divide the red bean paste into 15 grams each in advance).

Pinch your mouth tightly.

With the mouth facing down, use a cutting knife to make 2 cuts (it is also possible not to mark).

Coat the surface with egg liquid and stick with sesame seeds.

Put it in the lower and middle level of Dongling K40C oven preheated at 180 degrees, and bake for 20 minutes.
Tips:
1. Don't over-mix the scones dough, just mix well and not see the dry powder.
2. The amount of water is for reference only. You can check the state of the dough. If it is sticky, sprinkle a thin layer of flour on the chopping board.
