Sea Cucumber Congee

Dried sea cucumbers need to be soaked, soak them for 24-48 hours first, until the sea cucumbers are soft.

Go to the sand mouth and cut off the inner tendons. Then boil it for 30-50 minutes, until it can be pinched thoroughly with your nails, and let cool naturally

Continue to soak until the sea cucumber has reached 2-2.5 times its original size, and the soaking is successful in about 48-72 hours.

Take two soaked sea cucumbers and a measuring cup of millet

Wash the rice well, put it in boiling water, boil on high heat and turn to low heat for about 20 minutes

Add sea cucumber and a little ginger, one of the sea cucumbers has been sliced, cut into slices as you like, continue to cook for 10 minutes

Add salt and a little chicken essence before cooking, mix well
Tips:
1. The amount of water and rice is according to your own preference. If the porridge is thicker, add more rice, less water, or more water if you like thinner.
2. You can add pepper to taste before it is out of the pot, if you don’t like it, you can not add it
3. After soaking the sea cucumbers, the sea cucumbers have firm texture, thick walls, elasticity and good taste.
