My mother was actually born in Jiangyin. There is a saying here that people in Jiangyin love to eat wontons. I don’t know if it’s affected by this. I have always loved wontons and siu Mai since I was a kid. It was not easy to eat a bowl of wontons in the countryside Every time you come to the city, wontons and siu mais are a must-eat. This is the so-called open foreign meat. Think about when you want to eat wontons.

Shrimp and Shiitake Wonton

1. Wash the shiitake mushrooms and cut into small cubes

2. Peel the carrots and cut into small dices

3. Chop the chives

4. Put the above cut ingredients into a bowl, and add appropriate amount of cooking wine, salt, chicken essence, light soy sauce

5. Mix in one direction

6. Shell the shrimp and marinate it with cooking wine

7. Then cut the shrimp in two

8. Then put it into the bowl where the ingredients are mixed

9. Mix again

10. Put the wonton wrapper in your palm, add the mixed shrimp and lean meat in the middle

11. Then fold it in half

12. Prepare a pot of hot water and add the shrimp balls first

13. Add wontons after boiling

14. Add a bowl of cold water after boiling

15. Prepare a bowl and add the right amount of salt, chicken essence and chives

16. Cook until the floating wontons are put into the bowl

Tips:

Note: When cooking wontons, add a bowl of cold water in the middle, so that after two times of cooking, the meat is easy to cook, and the skin will not be broken
