Spicy Braised Duck Intestines

A portion of rough processed duck intestines.

Clean up the oil and debris from the duck intestines.
3.
Boil water in a pot, add cooking wine and a little pepper to the duck intestines.

Under running water, rinse well and drain for later use.
5.
Old brine, other ingredients are prepared.
6.
Add the old brine to the casserole and turn on a small fire.

When the old brine is boiled and melted, add the prepared spices. (Extra Spicy King cuts in advance)

Add light soy sauce.
9.
Add dark soy sauce.
10.
Add marinade juice.
11.
Add five-spice powder and refined salt.

After the high heat is boiled, turn to a low heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Duck intestines with drained water.
14.
Boil for 15 minutes.
15.
Turn off the heat, cover and soak for 2 hours, remove and enjoy.
Tips:
1: The special spicy king used by the elves. If you are not very spicy, you can reduce the serving size or replace it with ordinary dried chilies.
2: Remove all the oily tendons adhering to the duck intestines, so as not to affect the taste.
