Steam Pot Chicken (gastrodia Steam Pot Chicken)-a Specialty of Yunnan

Soak the chicken in water for about two hours,

Cut the gastrodia elata into pieces and shred the ginger (I am fresh gastrodia elata, and there are more, so I cut it into pieces. If you use dried gastrodia elata, soak it in water first and then slice it, it will be more delicious and the soup will taste better)

Mix the gastrodia elata, chicken nuggets, shredded ginger, star anise, and a little salt into the steam pot. Add clean water, just before the chicken has been passed,

Put the lid on the high heat and turn to low heat and simmer for an hour and a half.
