Today I made a delicacy with lotus root. I cut the lotus root into slices, then put the meat filling on the pot and steamed it. The shape is beautiful and the taste is delicious. The whole family loves it, and there is no soup left on the table. See below for details.

Steamed Chicken with Lotus Root

1. The meat and lotus root are ready. The chicken breast I used is tender and steamed. It is delicious. You can also use pork, if you like.

2. First chop the chicken breasts into mince, or use a meat grinder to mince minced meat.

3. Put the chopped chicken and chopped chives into a basin, and then pour 2 spoons of light soy sauce.

4. Pour in a spoonful of salt and a spoonful of sesame oil

5. Pour 2 scoops of cooking oil, or add some five-spice powder to increase the fragrance and taste

6. Start to adjust the filling, use chopsticks to stir in one direction, to stir up vigorously, the meat filling will be delicious.

7. Peel the lotus root and slice it into thin slices. Don't cut it too thick, or it won't roll well when rolled up.

8. The sliced lotus root slices are blanched in water, so that the blanched lotus slices will become softer and not easy to break.

9. Take a lotus root slice and add a spoonful of minced meat.

10. Then finish all the lotus root slices and minced meat, place them on the plate as shown in the picture, and put an egg yolk on top.

11. Finally, put the plate in the steamer, boil the water on high heat, and steam it for about 15 minutes.

12. The steamed lotus root meatballs are delicious and especially delicious
