Steamed Chicken with Shallots

Cut the chicken into pieces. If you don’t like the chicken skin, you can peel it off. Soak the red dates in water and soften them. Cut the ginger into thin strips and smash the shallots. Put it into the cut chicken. Add light soy sauce, cooking wine, white sugar, and white pepper. Mix and marinate evenly. spare.

Peel and cut the shallots, put them in a frying pan and sauté, then pour the oil and shallots into the above 1 and mix with the chicken, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Boil water on high heat, add a spoonful of cornstarch to the marinated chicken before putting it in the steamer, and then put it in the steamer and steam it. I steamed it on a high fire for 25 minutes. I turned it over with chopsticks in the middle. The chicken in the middle was not easy to cook. Tips:
1. This dish can be made with whole chicken, of course the chicken thigh is more tender.
2. If you are afraid of greasy, you can peel the chicken.
