Tips:
Although crabs are delicious, don't overeat them. People with deficiency of the spleen and stomach should eat as little as possible to avoid abdominal pain and diarrhea. Those suffering from colds, fever, stomach problems, and diarrhea should not eat crabs. People with high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, and arteriosclerosis should eat less crab roe to prevent cholesterol from increasing. In addition, crabs should not be eaten with tea and persimmons, because the tannic acid in the tea and persimmons meets the protein of the crabs and will solidify into indigestible masses, causing symptoms such as abdominal pain and vomiting.
