Steamed Lotus Root Cake

To prepare the ingredients, mince the carrots and slice the lotus root. The thickness is according to your preference. I cut it a little thinly; (for lotus root cakes, it’s best to choose those thin and round lotus roots;)

Add a small amount of salt, sugar, starch and raw oil to the minced meat, and stir well with the carrots;

Take two slices of lotus root, add appropriate amount of minced meat in the middle, and then press it tightly;

Boil the pot, add some clean water, and steam for 20 minutes; (according to the thickness of the lotus root slices and personal taste to increase or decrease the cooking time, for example, like to eat crispy lotus root slices; but pay attention to steaming;)

Take a bowl, add appropriate amount of soy sauce, oil consumption, sugar, starch and half a bowl of water, stir to make a sauce; then boil and pour it to a boil; finally pour the steamed lotus root cake; (you can also use your favorite seasoning;)
