Steamed Okra Enoki Mushroom
1.
Wash enoki mushrooms and okra for later use. (If the okra is larger or a bit old, it is recommended to blanch it in water for ten seconds, because enoki mushrooms generally ripen faster than okra)
2.
Add enoki mushrooms and okra.
3.
Put a few slices of very thinly sliced bacon on it, but bacon is not necessary. (Bacon should be thin, otherwise it won’t be cooked)
4.
Put some pickled peppers on top, bring the water to the boil, and steam for about 6 or 7 minutes.
5.
Put a little salt and sugar in a small bowl, dissolve it with boiling water, add an appropriate amount of umami soy sauce, put a small piece of goose fat or lard on the steamed vegetables, add the sauce and simmer for one minute.

Tips:
1. If your okra is relatively large or a little old, and you don’t want to blanch it first, you can steam the okra for 2-3 minutes, and then add enoki mushrooms and steam for 4 minutes.
2. Automatically add spicy if you like spicy.
3. I like dark sauce with less salt and more light soy sauce, and lighter colored sauce with more salt and less light soy sauce.
