When I go out for dinner, I often see restaurants steaming pork ribs with perilla. The ribs are very tender, with a light perilla flavor, and it feels like eating stone snails.

Steamed Pork Ribs with Perilla

1. Prepare the required materials

2. Chop ribs into small pieces and soak in water for 10 minutes

3. Then pick up and drain the water

4. Chop basil, garlic, and ginger

5. Add the chopped basil, garlic, and ginger to the ribs

6. Then add edible oil, soy sauce, corn starch, white sugar, chicken essence

7. Then mix well and marinate for 15 minutes

8. Put the ribs in the steaming dish. Put it in the pot and steam for about 20 minutes

9. Sprinkle with chopped green onion after serving

Tips:

The time for steaming the ribs should be adjusted according to the size of the ribs. I chop smaller and the steaming time is shorter.
