Steamed Ribs with Glutinous Rice

Two ribs, chop about three centimeters in length, then wash and soak for about half an hour, soak in bleeding water and then rinse in dry water for later use.

Marinate ribs, add ginger, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, millet wine (rice wine or rice wine cooking wine), black pepper powder, salt, small ground sesame oil, proper amount of fermented bean curd, the above seasonings are all digged with a spoon for children to eat You can also add it according to your taste.

Then put in more vegetable oil or lard, so that the steamed ribs will be soft and delicious with soup. Grab it with your hands to make the ribs tasteful.

Grab and mix with your hands for a few minutes so that the ribs are evenly coated with seasonings.

Then cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator overnight (you can marinate it the night before eating at noon, and make it in the morning if you eat it at night, as long as it is marinated for more than five or six hours).

The glutinous rice must be soaked in advance, at least overnight, the glutinous rice should be soaked to the extent that it will break when you pinch it with your hands. I soaked it all day and night and it was still a bit hard, and I felt like I bought fake glutinous rice this time.

The marinated ribs are taken out in advance and placed at room temperature. Then put a thin layer of glutinous rice on the plate mat, and then mix the rest of the glutinous rice with the ribs and pour them into the plate. If you have lotus leaves at home, use lotus leaves to wrap glutinous rice ribs and steam them on the pot.

Finally, if there is a lot of glutinous rice, spread it on the ribs.

Then put enough water in the pressure cooker at one time, cover the pot and simmer on high heat until it gets airy, then turn to medium heat and steam for 1 hour.

After the steaming was finished, the pot was empty and the lid was opened. For the purpose of shooting, I turned the plate upside down, because the steamed glutinous rice next to the bottom of the plate was soaked in the soup and it was very fragrant. It takes at least an hour to steam, only more than less, otherwise the ribs will be under-cooked and the glutinous rice will be raw. At the same time, be careful not to boil the water dry in the pot, and put enough water at a time.

Sprinkle with chopped green onion and start eating.

It can be steamed in a pressure cooker, or steamed with the tendon button of an electric pressure cooker.
