Steamed Ribs with Lotus Leaf and Glutinous Rice

Soak the glutinous rice in water for 5-8 hours, soak the fresh lotus leaves in light salt water for half an hour and then wash them for later

Wash the ribs and cut them into small pieces. Use ginger and garlic paste, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine, salt and sugar to mix well and marinate for 2 hours

Mix the marinated ribs with glutinous rice evenly

Spread the washed lotus leaves in a steamer, wrap them in the mixed ribs and glutinous rice, put them in a steamer and heat for 50 minutes on high heat. After they are out of the pot, cut the lotus leaves along the edge of the steamer and sprinkle them with chopped green onions. Garnished with crushed red pepper

*Dry lotus leaves can be used without fresh lotus leaves, but before use, soak them in water overnight.
*If you are worried that the fresh lotus leaves will not be washed clean, you can use boiling water for a little blanching.
