I rarely buy this kind of small pumpkin. I think it’s better to eat a big pumpkin. Many friends on the Internet use it for cooking, and I also tempted to buy one to try it. The steamed ribs have the sweet taste of pumpkin. delicious.

Steamed Spare Ribs with Pumpkin Powder

1. Ingredients: ribs, small pumpkin, homemade steamed meat powder

2. Wash the ribs with blood, mix well with salt, light soy sauce, cooking wine, ginger, and chopped green onions, and marinate for more than 20 minutes. The marinating time is easier

3. After marinating, add the steamed meat powder and mix well, so that each rib is evenly covered with steamed meat powder and maintain the humidity of the steamed meat powder

4. Start the pot and boil water, put the ribs in the steamer and steam until 80 or 90 minutes cooked. I used it for about 40 minutes

5. Use a knife to cut out the top cover of the pumpkin, as shown in the picture

6. After cutting open, take out the flesh inside

7. When the ribs are steamed to eighty or ninety minutes cooked, put them in the pumpkin

8. Continue to steam until the pumpkin is ripe. It took about 20 minutes. The pumpkin will ripen faster if you don’t cover it.

Tips:

When steaming the steamed pork noodles, be careful not to be too dry. If it is too dry, the rice noodles will be very dry and not tasty. You can sprinkle some water on the rice noodles.
