Steamed Yam with Chopped Pepper

Peel the yam in flowing water. This is what a friend told me, so that the peeled yam is not easy to oxidize and turn black. Cut into finger-thick strips.

Boil water in a pot and blanch the yam. This step is also to prevent the yam from changing color during the steaming process. Don't pour out the blanching medicine water, just cook any soup without wasting, there is a lot of yam mucus in it. The boiled yam was placed on a plate.

Put a tablespoon of chopped peppers and chopped green onions, drizzle a little light soy sauce. After the water boils, steam it for ten minutes.

Heat oil in a pot, pour two spoons of hot oil on the yam, mix well and enjoy.
Tips:
You can also stir-fry the chopped pepper first, then mix it with yam and steam it to add more flavor.
