Stewed Beef Brisket with Tomatoes

1. After the tomatoes are washed, cut a cross knife on the top for better peeling

2. Boil in boiling water for two or three minutes, peeling along the cross-cut

3. The sirloin is cut into squares as shown in the figure. For better flavor, you can cut it a little bit finer

4. Pour ginger water into a spoon of cooking wine and boil

5. Put the sirloin into the boiled ginger water to remove the blood, then pour out and drain.

6. Carrots cut into a hob shape

7. Green onion ginger garlic

8. Pour the sirloin and stir fry

9. Add carrots and continue to stir fry

10. Pour in cooking wine, light soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, add anise, cinnamon, chili, and add enough water

11. After the high heat is boiled, turn to medium heat and simmer for about one and a half hours

12. Add tomatoes, add sugar, and simmer for about an hour

13. At this point the tomatoes have been stewed

14. Sprinkle with chopped green onions

Tips:

Cut the sirloin thinly for better flavor, or it can be stewed in a pressure cooker to shorten the stewing time
