Sugar Pickled Lemon

Rinse the lemon with warm water, then soak it in salt water for an hour to remove the residue on it

Remove evenly sliced lemon slices

Prepare a clean, water-free, oil-free airtight jar. In order to ensure it is water- and oil-free, I washed it with hot water and then dried it with a hair dryer inside and out.

Sprinkle a layer of white sugar on the bottom of the bottle

Start to pour the lemon and sprinkle a layer of sugar evenly on top of each slice

It’s very fast to make, with two hands working at the same time, one hand sprinkling sugar and the other hand adding lemon

Finally, spread a thick layer of sugar on top, and seal the lid to complete

I marinated it a week ago, it was so juicy and it tastes great
