Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs
1.
Split the fried dough sticks in half and cut them into moderately sized sections, about 3cm long.

Wash the lotus root and cut it into a rectangular parallelepiped shape of the ribs, which is slightly longer than the length of the fried dough sticks.
3.
Cut the tofu into small particles.
4.
Boil water in a pot, put the sliced lotus root in boiling water and blanch for about 3 minutes, then remove and drain.
5.
Peel the tomatoes and cut into small pieces.

Take an appropriate amount of tomato paste, use the soup spoon, about 4-5 tablespoons (adjust according to your own taste)

Take 20G cornstarch, mix with water and stir evenly, pour it into tomato sauce, add sugar and stir well.
8.
Take a section of fried dough stick and poke the inside with chopsticks.
9.
Stuff a lotus root into the dough stick.
10.
In the fried dough sticks with lotus roots, fill the gaps inside with a suitable amount of tofu (less attention span, too much force will break the fried dough sticks).
11.
Put the ribs that have completed the above steps into the beaten egg liquid and soak in pressure to absorb the right amount of egg liquid.
12.
Put the ribs from step 11 into the corn starch and roll with a thin layer of corn starch.
13.
Boil the oil in the pot, put the chopsticks into bubbling, and then deep-fry the ribs in the pot until golden brown, pick up and drain the oil.
14.
Boil a little oil in another pot, put the tomatoes in the pot, add a little salt and fry for a while, pour in the ribs of step 13, then pour in the tomato sauce of cornflour water, cook until the juice is thick and turn off the heat On the dish.
Tips:
Dip cornstarch directly before frying, instead of mixing cornstarch with water to make a batter and then dip it. The main reason is that you don’t want the pork ribs to become too big after being fried so that you can’t see the orange-red and orange-red “meat”. Fried pork ribs with batter will look fake~~~ But if it’s vegetarian and you don’t even eat eggs, then you can mix cornflour into batter, dip the batter and add some bread crumbs to fry it without the egg mixture. Right!
In addition, the tomato sauce I bought is sour, so I didn't add white vinegar. If you like to eat sour TX, you can add a small spoonful of white vinegar!
