Xiaoyao's Marinated Egg

Marinated egg spice is very important. I have used more than a dozen of them. I can use less of them. The taste will be slightly different. There are a few that are not commonly used at ordinary times. You can buy them at Chinese pharmacies.

Cook the eggs first, peel off the shell and set aside.

Put the eggs in the pot, wrap the spices with gauze or the like and put them in the pot. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt and a little sugar, and pour in water until the liquid level is over the egg.

After boiling, simmer for about 1 hour, or a little longer or shorter time. After turning off the heat, let it stand overnight. When you wake up in the morning, the pure fragrant marinated eggs will be ready.
