Bacon and Potato Braised Rice
1.
Wash the bacon and cut into cubes. Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces for later use.
2.
Put the oil in the pot and heat it to 50% heat, add the diced bacon and fry it until fragrant. Add potato pieces, ginger, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and prepare soy sauce.
3.
Soy sauce must use light soy sauce here. Light soy sauce is more fragrant. After the potato pieces are fried with ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper for about 1 minute, add the soy sauce.
4.
After the rice is cleaned, add the fried potato pieces and diced bacon, and add water that has not passed a knuckle. Note that the water must not be added too much, otherwise it will be too thin and tasteless after cooking.
5.
Press the rice cooker, do not turn it on immediately after the rice is cooked, let it simmer for 3 minutes before turning it on again. A fragrant bacon and potato stew came out.
Tips:
Potatoes try to use small spring potatoes, which are firmer, more flavorful, and more fragrant.
