Recently, I was chasing "Ode to Joy 2" and heard Qiu Yingying and Ying Qin mention bacon rice many times in the play, so I was also full of expectations for bacon rice. It just happened to have time today, so I made the bacon rice that I was thinking of!

Bacon Rice

1. 1. Prepare bacon, potatoes, carrots and onions. Slice bacon, and cut potatoes, carrots, and onions into small pieces.

2. 2. Wash the rice and soak it in water for about 20 minutes. (Actually, this should be the first step, the time the rice is soaked can be used to prepare other ingredients)

3. 3. After heating up the pan, add a proper amount of oil, then add the onion, and fry the aroma.

4. 4. Add potatoes and carrots and stir-fry for about 3 minutes.

5. 5. Add bacon and stir-fry evenly.

6. 6. Add light soy sauce and sugar. (The vegetables are fried a little bit salty, because later they will be added to the rice, the saltiness will become weaker)

7. 7. Pour the fried ingredients into the rice cooker and mix well with the rice. Just turn on the cooking mode.

8. 8. The bacon rice is done!
