There is an idiom called picking up people’s teeth, which has completely become "eating swallows’ teeth." Bird’s nest is the nest of golden swiftlet, but more straightforwardly, it is its saliva. Don't be frightened, this is not ordinary saliva. Golden swiftlets lay eggs in March and April every year. Before laying eggs, they fly on the sea and high in the sky every day, sometimes as high as several thousand meters, piercing through clouds and breaking fog, sucking rain and dew. Feed on insects. After digestion, it burrows into the steep, shady, high-altitude cliff cracks and deep caves, and spit to build nests. It takes about 20 days to build, so this is her essence! I just picked the peach gum for the last season of this year. I picked it by myself, just rest assured! Paired with bird's nest, red dates, longan and black dates, it is a nourishing symphony!

Ingredients

Bird's Nest Peach Gum Nourishing Soup

1. The peach gum I picked is crystal clear~

2. Peach gum is very scarce in autumn, just a little bit on the whole old peach tree... Naturally air-dried peach gum has good hair strength, so it should be soaked at least one day in advance

3. After a day and a half, it became like this. Carefully use tweezers to remove the peach bark and dirt inside.

4. After the bird’s nest is rinsed, soak it with an appropriate amount of water

5. After a few hours, the foam has been made several times and opened with a touch of my hand.

6. Then torn into strips

7. Put a little peach gum in a porcelain bowl or stew pot

8. Plus about half of the bird's nest

9. Then pour in the water to soak the bird's nest

10. Put in dried red dates

11. Put in the dried longan

12. Add a black date

13. Then add water to the rice cooker and put the small porcelain bowl in it

14. Cover the top with a porcelain plate, then simmer in water for half an hour to forty minutes

Tips:

1. Don't pour out the water used to soak the bird's nest. After all, it is the saliva of the swallow, and there are many nutrients that will melt into the water, so don't waste it;
2. Don't add sugar when stewing, this is the same as stewing chicken soup without salt, and then add rock sugar or honey when eating, I like to add honey~
