Braised Chicken with Chestnuts

Cut the chicken into a large bowl, add a little light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, oyster sauce and corn starch and marinate for at least 20 minutes.

Mix the seasoning soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, cooking wine, white pepper, and water.

Heat oil in a wok, sauté ginger, shallots and garlic.

Add chicken pieces and chestnuts and stir fry until fragrant.

Add the well-mixed sauce and half a bowl of water, bring to a boil over high heat, cover and turn to medium-low heat, simmer until the chestnuts are soft. I used it for 10 minutes.
