The taste of home with one meal and one dish, stewed rice is simple and delicious with both rice and dishes. This stew is the taste I usually eat at home. Today I used the thermos stew pot to finish it. The method without the stew pot is exactly the same. The last step is done with a rice cooker. I use this braising pot to save more worry. I can braise it when I go out and put it in my bag. When I come out hungry, I can eat it at any time. One can in hand, you have all the food.
I used the braising pot to finish this meal. Friends who don’t have a braising pot can do the previous steps and put it in the rice cooker.

Braised Rice with Black Pepper and Mixed Vegetables

1. Wash the rice and soak it in clean water for half an hour.

2. Pour boiling water into the braising pot, screw on the lid and preheat for 5 minutes.

3. You can put any vegetables you like, sliced sausages.

4. Put oil in the wok and cook the chopped green onion.

5. Pour in sausage and vegetables and stir fry.

6. Pour in the removed rice and stir fry, add salt, stir-fry black pepper and turn off the heat.

7. The braising pot is preheated and hot water is poured out, and the fried rice and vegetables are put into the braising pot.

8. Add boiling water, the ratio of rice to water is 1:1.1.

9. Screw on the lid and simmer for more than 3 hours.

10. When the time is up, open the lid and simmer the rice and it's OK.

11. The rice grains are distinctly soft and rotten.

Tips:

The ratio of rice to water is 1:1.1. If you use a rice cooker to stew rice, this ratio is also the same. If you like a softer one, you can add a little more water.
