After arriving in the south, taro was sold everywhere. It was relatively rare in my hometown in the north, so I am not very good at how to eat taro. I also learn to make it with everyone. There is a piece of taro, only me and my baby. Just make braised rice, no need to stir-fry, put it in and simmer with rice. It's especially easy, but it is also very nutritious. It is more suitable for lazy people.

Braised Rice with Taro

1. Cut the pork belly into cubes, peel the taro and cut into cubes.

2. Rinse and clean the right amount of rice.

3. Heat oil in a pot and sauté ginger and garlic.

4. Pour the pork belly and stir fry until fragrant.

5. Pour the taro cubes and stir fry.

6. Add a pinch of salt.

7. Pour some light soy sauce.

8. Add an appropriate amount of soy sauce and stir-fry all the ingredients evenly.

9. Pour the fried taro pork belly into the cleaned rice.

10. Then add the same amount of water as usual for cooking rice.

11. Put it in the pressure cooker.

12. Cover the pot and press the cooking button to cook.

Tips:

The taro and pork belly do not need to be fried in a pot for too long, just fry them for a good flavor, and then cook them in a pressure cooker, so don’t worry about the unripe ones.
