This wide lentil has a peculiar "smutty taste". However, there is a trick to remove this taint when cooking. Add a little edible alkali when blanching the water.

Braised Wide Lentils with Meat Sausage

1. Ingredients: lentils, sausages, hot peppers, green onions

2. Cut the peppers, sausages, and green onions, and set aside

3. Boil water in a pot, put a little salt and a few drops of oil, and add a little alkali. Put in wide lentils

4. Blanch it thoroughly. Fish out for spare

5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped green onions

6. Add the chili and stir well

7. Add meat sausage and stir well

8. Put in the blanched wide lentils

9. Season with salt and MSG, and stir quickly evenly.

10. Out of the pot and plate

Tips:

Blanch the pig lentils in advance to facilitate subsequent operations. It can also be cooked directly without blanching, but it needs to be simmered and cooked thoroughly by adding some water
