My aunt brought back a lot of kumquats in Guilin, and because I could not finish eating them, they might rot at any time, so I came up with this method.

Candied Kumquat with Rock Sugar

1. Soak in salt for three minutes and rinse

2. Put it in a pot and boil on high heat

3. Put the salt in 15 minutes, cook out in 30 minutes

4. Keep in the refrigerator for 24 hours

5. Bake in the microwave for 5 minutes, turn over and bake for another 5 minutes

6. Just clip one and pull out the wire!

Tips:

Don't put too much salt, don't bake too long!
