Cantonese-style Bacon Braised Lotus Root

The ingredients are lotus root and Cantonese bacon.

Wash the lotus root, peel it, and cut it into pieces. You can also cut into larger pieces according to your preference.

The bacon should be washed several times. After washing it, cut it into pieces that are one centimeter long and wide.

Wash the lotus root and bacon and set aside.

Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the pot, pour the bacon into the pot and stir fry for about a minute.

After the bacon is fried to translucent, pour the lotus root into the pot and stir fry together.

Add a little salt and stir fry (because there is already salt in the bacon, so don't add too much), then add a bowl of water and simmer for a while

Pour the lotus root in the pot into the pressure cooker and simmer

Pour boiled water into the pressure cooker. The amount of water is parallel to the lotus root. Cover the lid of the pressure cooker and simmer for about half an hour.

Serve the braised lotus root on a plate
Tips:
The bacon must be cleaned. If the bacon is very salty, adding salt can be avoided
