The famous dish of Northeast chicken stewed with mushrooms was supposed to be made with dried shiitake mushrooms and zhen mushrooms. Since these two ingredients were not on hand, I used mushrooms and fresh shiitake mushrooms instead, which tasted good.

3. One chicken, cut into pieces with cooking wine, light soy sauce, salt, and marinate for half an hour.

4. Tricholoma, Fresh Shiitake

5. Scallions, ginger, garlic, star anise, chili, pepper

6. Stir-fried ingredients, fried sugar.

7. Add chicken nuggets and stir fry to change color.

8. Add mushrooms and stir fry.

9. Add proper amount of rice wine (don’t use rice)

10. Add boiled water, minced mushrooms and chicken. Add salt and light soy sauce.

11. After boiling, simmer for 25 minutes. I couldn't help putting some potato wedges in.

Tips:

Simmering it over low heat is delicious.
