Christmas Wreath Bread

Prepare the ingredients for the dough, the bread flour I use is the high-gluten wheat flour in the Arowana baking powder, the finished product is soft and delicious;

Prepare the ingredients for surface decoration;

Pour the water and egg liquid into the bread bucket, and put the salt and sugar diagonally;

Pour in bread flour;
5.
Dig a hole in the middle of the bread flour and add dry yeast powder;

Select the kneading program to start kneading, add butter after the kneading program ends, and continue to select the kneading program;

After the dough is very smooth, select the fermentation program to start fermentation;

Ferment to double the size, just poke a hole in the middle without shrinking;

Select the kneading program to knead the dough for about 3 minutes to exhaust, then divide it into six equal parts, knead round one by one, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes;

Take a dough and roll it into an oval shape;

After turning it over, roll out the lower edge to make it easier to close the mouth;

Roll up from top to bottom

After all the rolls are finished, cover with plastic wrap and continue to relax for 15 minutes;

Knead one by one into a strip of about 60 cm;

Take three of them and weave them into a braid;

Connect the braid end to end to pinch the joints and place them in a baking tray lined with greased paper. Do the same for the other braid;

Put it in the oven for secondary fermentation;

Take it out when it is twice as large as it is fermented, and brush the egg liquid;

Randomly put on dried cranberries and cooked pumpkin seeds;

Put it in the middle of the preheated oven at 160 degrees for 20 minutes;

After baking, take it out, cool until it is not hot, and store it in an airtight seal. When eating, sift in an appropriate amount of powdered sugar to decorate.
Tips:
1. The temperature of each oven is different, and the baking time is increased or decreased according to your actual situation;
2. The dried fruits and nuts decorated on the surface can be replaced as you like;
3. When baking, when the dough is colored to your liking, remember to cover the surface with tin foil to avoid excessive coloring;
4. Fermentation time is generally about 1 hour, and about 1.5-2 hours in cold weather.
