People in Henan love to eat steamed buns. We don't call it steamed buns here, but steamed buns. When I was young, I liked to go to my grandfather's house. At that time, the coal stove in my grandfather's house was a kind of handmade stove. In winter, when it is cold, my grandparents will put a small bench on the stove and let me warm up on the stove. He also cuts the steamed buns into slices. Grandpa has a self-made wire rack on which the steamed buns are slowly roasted until they are browned and served to me. Although the steamed buns were baked, and nothing was put, I thought that dried buns were the best thing to eat. After Yiyi grew up and returned to his grandparents, he would still have to bake the buns and eat them dry. Baked buns are rarely eaten now. It was the same day when the sisters were chatting together when they were young. When it comes to grandparents’ buns, I suddenly feel that I want to eat, and I want to make them for children, so I just start to do it. Made this steamed bun. I'm just afraid that the children are eating too well now, and are not interested in roasted buns, so they use eggs and milk powder to make the noodles. When baking, they also brush oil and seasonings. This way the baked buns are very crispy, and it is really good to bake them Welcome, I was only going to eat it for the older children. Who knew that my grandson would also eat it, and he would eat a slice of it. Seeing them happily eating, I felt happy. I think my grandparents baked us back then, and the mood is the same when watching us eat!

Crispy Roasted Bun

1. Make custard buns first. Stir the eggs and water and pour them into the bread bucket. Add milk powder and rock sugar powder

2. Add flour and yeast powder

3. Use the dough procedure to knead the dough until it is smooth. If there is no bread machine, it is the same if you knead the dough by hand. It’s just that this dough has a lot of eggs, so it’s a bit sticky to knead it by hand.

4. Cover with wet cloth and ferment to 2--3 times the size

5. Exhaust the ingredients, knead into strips, then steam for 30 minutes

6. Cool and slice

7. Pour salt, cumin and oil into a bowl and mix well

8. Brush the surface of the bun with the seasoning oil, both sides

9. I have steamed four steamed buns, but I can only bake them one and a half at a time. My son wanted fermented bean curd, so I mixed fermented bean curd with oil and roasted half of fermented bean curd.

10. After preheating the oven at 150 degrees, put it in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes

11. Baked buns, because a lot of eggs are used when making the noodles, the buns are very crispy

Tips:

The material of the surface brush can be adjusted according to your own preferences, and you can also add other herbs, such as rosemary, etc., and the taste is also very good
