This article continues the fancy steamed dumpling series. This article uses carrot juice dough as a demonstration. I have seen too many noodles and dumplings with carrot juice, but they are all of the kind with a huge amount, and the color of the pasta after cooking is also light. In fact, there is a trick to the final product color as bright as carrots. It is to squeeze the carrot into juice with water, then boil it on low heat, scoop up the thick layer of carrot juice that floats on the top, and knead it in flour. When the pasta is cooked, it can maintain its bright color. The boiled juice is also hot, and pour an appropriate amount into the flour to form a hot dough. The steamed dumpling dough will be very soft, even if it is let cool, it will remain soft as before. Although there is no color in the remaining juice, it is still nutritious, and it is also good for making soup, so don't waste it. If there is a juicer to squeeze the juice, then the cooking step can be omitted, and it will save more trouble.

Fancy Steamed Dumplings Steamed Dumplings with Carrot Sauce

1. Two carrots, scrape the skin and wash

2. Cut into small pieces

3. Put it into a cooking cup, add a proper amount of water to make a paste

4. Separation of juice and residue

5. Pour the juice into the milk pot and boil on low heat

6. Take out the thick carrot froth floating on the surface, you can see that the carrot juice does not have much orange

7. Pour the carrot froth into the flour, then add an appropriate amount of carrot juice, stir evenly with chopsticks without dry powder, and knead when it is warm to your hands

8. Take out the dough, place it on the table, add 10 grams of vegetable oil to knead and moisturize

9. Round the dough and place it in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and use it for 15 minutes

10. Pork filling and cabbage filling are ready

Tips:

The stuffing must be sufficient to make the dumplings full;
Adjust the filling according to your own taste;
The steaming time is adjusted according to the size of the dumplings;
