Flavored Shortbread
1.
Add a little salt to the flour, add water and make a soft dough, and it will take at least two or three hours, the longer the better. I was the face of peace before going to bed, all night.
2.
The better the dough becomes softer and tougher, it is easy to roll out, but not easy to roll out
3.
Divide the dough into four portions (only 2 portions were used when actually making)
4.
Add 2 spoons of flour and 3 spoons of oil to a small bowl to make soft pastry
5.
Take a piece of dough and roll it out into a thin rectangular piece
6.
Spread a layer of shortbread
7.
Spread some grape jam
8.
Roll up along the long side
9.
Round up
10.
Press flat, roll it out a bit, don’t roll it thin, it’s better to be thicker
11.
Spread some oil in a flat-bottomed non-stick pan, heat it up, place the dough, and bake it over a medium to small heat
12.
Fry on one side until golden brown, turn over and cook on both sides
13.
Roll out another piece of dough in the same way, and roll it into a thin rectangular dough sheet
14.
Also apply a layer of shortbread
15.
Roll up along the long side
16.
Roll up along one end, stretch while curling
17.
Roll it out again, no need to roll it thin
18.
Put on the mooncake filling (finely chopped five-core mooncake and mix with some brown sugar and flour)
19.
wrap up
20.
Roll into a thicker cake
21.
In the same way, sear both sides until golden and crispy
22.
Cut into pieces
Tips:
Because the noodles are made in cold water and a little salt is added, the dough is more gluten. You must have enough time for the noodles, otherwise it will not be easy to roll them out. The noodles are not in place, and the baked pie will not be delicious. You can make noodles in the morning.
