When I was young, I thought potatoes were one of the same delicious snacks. Mom often boiled small potatoes to make snacks for us. The three of us elder brothers and sisters will gather around the small bowls while peeling and eating, as if they think this is the most delicious thing in the world. The youngest brother, my sister and I often occasionally leave an extra portion for him to eat, and my sister often murmurs unwillingly. The cousin next door often fights with his younger brother for the sake of eating small potatoes, and my mother always grabs a few for him to let us take this younger brother away. Thinking of the time when a few boiled potatoes were so delicious, why now they no longer have the taste of childhood? Perhaps we have eaten better than potatoes and no longer feel that potatoes are so delicious. But my dining table will never lack its shadow. It brings me not only the "memories" of potatoes, but also high nutritional value.
